I've been reading (well, browsing through) a lot of Photoshop books. It's easy to be overwhelmed by all the choices! So now it's time to play, to see what effects I can come up with. I like a grainy, vintage look, and that's what I've been trying here.







Ho hum, another picture of a beautiful canola field. But I like the grainy effect here, too.





For this one, I used the Find Edges option, then the Graphic Pen filter and overlaid it onto the original picture (with the saturation increased, and maybe some other stuff, too, that I've since forgotten!). And, yes, it really is a prairie picture! Taken at Oak Hammock Marsh (near Winnipeg), I think.
